Race to Nowhere screening 2/24/12 at 7pm!
Dear Parents,
As you may already be aware, we are screening the movie Race to Nowhere a week from Friday on February 24th at 7:00 pm. We have several events on campus for students of all ages to enjoy. Our hope is that while your children are attending these events, you have the opportunity to come and watch this important film. A short clip of the film is available for viewing directly from our homepage.
Race to Nowhere has been screened hundreds of times all over the country and with increasing frequency around the world. Schools and community organizations have used the film to examine the dialogue about how we might define success and how we can increase the chances that our children grow up healthy.
We are looking forward to watching Race to Nowhere as a community and using its message to inform our conversations. Please join us on Friday, February 24th at 7:00 PM in the Dining commons to be a part of this critical discussion.
