As the Directors of College Counseling at Rutgers Prep, Ms. Krause and Mrs. Riggi work to oversee the College Counseling Department. Their primary goal is to counsel, advise and support juniors and seniors as they journey through the College Admissions Process. Between the two, Ms. Krause and Mrs. Riggi have over 22 years experience in the Admissions field at institutions like, The College of New Jersey, Seton Hall University, The University of Pennsylvania and Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr. Jill Cooper B.S., Ph.D
Dr. Cooper is a familiar face to many at Prep. She has been a faculty member in the science department since 2000 and is now using the experience she gained as a member of the Bucknell University Admissions staff to assist underclassman with "pre-college counseling". Dr. Cooper works with underclass students and parents in suggesting how students might best use their free time to position them effectively for the college admissions process as well as help students choose a schedule of courses. Rosa Irizarry
Mrs. Irizarry, better known as "Mrs. I" is the backbone of the College Counseling Department. She is the backbone of the department . Last year processed over 600 applications! Mrs. I can answer many questions about the college process and will do her best to walk you through the application procedure.
