Introducing Rutgers Prep's Newest Junior Peer Leaders

Rutgers Prep is pleased to announce the newly selected junior members of Peer Leadership for the 2026–27 school year.

The students, all members of the Class of 2028, were chosen after a thoughtful and competitive selection process that included interviews and reflection on the qualities needed to support classmates with empathy, integrity, and responsibility.

The new junior Peer Leaders are Jesintha Benneaser ’28, Julian Ceberio ’28, Shriya Chinthamaneni ’28, Yunjin Choi ’28, Cienna Dandridge ’28, Maeve Hoebich ’28, DJ Santowasso ’28, Sophia Soares ’28, Shayaan Sreejit ’28, and Jacob Treonze ’28.

Each year, rising juniors are selected to serve a two-year term in Peer Leadership. During their first year in the program, they join the rising seniors already serving as Peer Leaders. The following year, they continue in the program as senior Peer Leaders.

This year’s applicant pool included an impressive group of students who showed care for the school community and a willingness to take on meaningful responsibility. Rutgers Prep congratulates the students selected and thanks every applicant who put themselves forward. Their effort, thoughtfulness, and courage were an important part of the process.
