A Letter from the Head of School
Dear Friends,
As we close another meaningful year at Rutgers Prep, I am filled with gratitude for the collective spirit of our school community. Your partnership and support continue to shape the exceptional experiences that define our students’ journeys.
This fall, we celebrated remarkable achievements and moments of connection. Our girls soccer team captured another state championship, showcasing skill, perseverance, and teamwork. Students in the Tend to a Friend program brought joy and friendship to children with disabilities, sharing their compassion in joyful action. We celebrate a dedicated teacher who completed the entire Appalachian Trail, embodying the adventurous spirit we encourage in all our learners, and we acknowledged the continuing professional development of several faculty who earned advanced degrees.
Upper School students pushed boundaries in advanced research. And budding musicians, actors, and writers in all divisions showcased their talents through performances and publications. Highlights included our Diwali celebration’s beautiful display of culture and unity, our band, choir, and orchestra concerts that highlighted remarkable musical talents, and the dramatic achievements of the members on stage and behind the scenes of our fall play.
At Rutgers Prep, every experience is a chance to learn, grow, and contribute. In this spirit, we look forward to the opportunities that await us in 2025.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are building a future filled with curiosity, courage, and boundless potential.
With gratitude and warmest wishes,
Steve Loy
