Boys Lacrosse
Team Philosophy
The Rutgers Prep boys lacrosse experience is designed to be a low-stakes simulation for life. The culture of the team is designed to be a driving force for positive collective action as well as a support system when failure occurs. Through three core values—Grounded, Resilient, and United—athletes are given the tools to handle life's excitement, pressure, heartbreak, and joy.
Success depends on an understanding that the work put in today will be the joy experienced tomorrow. The team embraces a Fleet Mentality, where “rowing” together is the best way for all to succeed. Consistent with the School, the Rutgers Prep lacrosse team teaches the whole person; mind, body, and spirit. Better people make a better fleet!
