6th Graders Hard at Work on Latest STEAM Project
JoAnn Miller’s 6th Grade STEAM class recently made freestanding papier-mâché versions of their first initials.
Each of their letters had to be symmetrical, visually appealing, and show the students’ most thoughtful work. Students mixed their own paint colors and experimented with combinations until the design felt just right. As they built, they discussed design challenges with Mrs. Miller to refine their ideas.
The results were structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. In other words, they did an outstanding job!
