Myles Parker ’25 Speaks at Cedar Hill Prep Graduation

Rutgers Prep alum Myles Parker ’25 returned to his former school, Cedar Hill Prep, to speak at its 8th Grade Graduation, where his brother Mason was among the graduates.

Speaking to the Class of 2026, Myles shared advice about resilience, gratitude, and the importance of trying new things.

“Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone,” Myles told the graduates. “Some of the best opportunities in life come from taking chances and believing in yourself, even when something feels difficult or unfamiliar.”

Myles also reflected on his experience at Rutgers Prep, where he said academics, athletics, and friendships helped him grow.

“Some of my favorite memories came from playing on a team, competing in big games, and creating lifelong friendships,” he said. “Those experiences taught me the importance of commitment, teamwork, and perseverance.”

As the graduates prepared for high school, Myles encouraged them to stay focused through setbacks and to appreciate the people who helped them along the way.
