Character Matters to Our First and Second Graders!

Fairy-tale characters jumped off the page and onto the stage in the Barn today as first and second graders performed their year-end show, “Character Matters.”

Students performed scenes inspired by familiar tales, including Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Jack and the Beanstalk, and more.

Each scene and its accompanying song focused on a lesson the children can carry with them every day, including forgiveness, managing strong feelings, taking responsibility, being honest, and accepting and celebrating differences.

Bravo to our young performers, who all did a fantastic job, and thank you to their teachers Mrs. Corbin, Ms. Jara, Ms. Perone, and Mrs. Goodman for all the work that made the show a success!
