Eighth Graders Lead Lesson on Mid-Autumn Festival

To help celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, three Rutgers Prep eighth graders traded their seats in Chinese I for a spot at the front of the classroom.

Jordan F. ’31, Quinton N. ’31 and Ved P. ’31 taught fellow Middle and Upper School students about the holiday before showing them how to make Oreo mooncakes, a twist on one of its traditional foods.

With Chinese teacher You Zhou there to support them, Jordan, Quinton and Ved took charge of the lesson, demonstrating each step and helping everyone turn Oreos and milk into their own mooncakes.
