Emily Black-Wright ’27 Makes Her Mark on RPS Record Book
Congratulations to sophomore Emily Black-Wright ’27, who set two new records for the Rutgers Prep swimming team last weekend.
Emily bested the 200 Individual Medley (IM) record set in 2017 by Shannon Kurtz ’20 by 2.42 seconds with a time of 2:16.98. She also broke her own 100 Breaststroke record set last season by 1.10 seconds, finishing at 1:08.03.
Her excellent performance qualifies Emily for the NJSIAA Individual State “Meet of Champions” on March 1.
