First Graders’ Curiosity Takes Flight at The Raptor Trust

First graders let their curiosity take flight during their field trip to The Raptor Trust on May 12.

Our students saw bald eagles, golden eagles, peregrine falcons, red-tailed hawks, and more as they learned about raptors, what makes these birds special, and how The Raptor Trust helps injured birds get a second chance at life in the wild. They also came face-to-beak with Ollie, an American Kestrel, in The Raptor Trust’s Education Center.
