The Rutgers Prep golf team notched its first win of the season on Thursday, besting Bernards High School by four strokes, 162 to 166 at the beautiful, but challenging course at Roxiticus Golf Club in Mendham.
John Kelly ’24 and Agguth Reddy ’26 both set career low rounds with scores of 39, while junior Chris Patel ’25 and senior captains Diya Bhagat ’24, Arjan Singh ’24, and Vikram Wadhawan ’24 contributed to the win with scores in the 40s.
Coach Geoff Loose noted that the team's score of 162 is the best in the past 20 years for RPS. Well done, everyone!
