Health and Wellness Department Presents Guest Speaker Lauren Muriello
Navigating parenthood in today’s world can be overwhelming. Parents often grapple with concerns such as social media and cell phone usage, stress and anxiety, academic pressure, and sleep deprivation. In response to these challenges, the Health and Wellness department has sponsored a speaker series for parents over the past two years.
On the evenings of February 26 and April 3, Lauren Muriello, a licensed professional counselor, visited RPS to present her talk, “Parenting Gen Z and Alpha to Thrive.”
Lauren is the Founder of Well Being Therapy Center, which has locations in Montville and Short Hills. Her expertise includes issues related to children and teens, parenting and family dynamics, modern trends in mental health, and the impact of tech and social media on developing minds. During her presentations, Lauren shared practical strategies that parents can implement to help their children thrive in our ever-changing world. She also provided tips for fostering critical thinking skills and promoting mental well-being in children.
