Pre-K Learns All about Winter

If you’ve paid a visit to our Pre-Kindergarten class lately, there’s a very good chance our students have excitedly shared with you some of their newly-acquired knowledge about what animals do to get ready for winter. The class has been busy learning that when the weather starts to turn cold, some animals migrate to a warmer place, while others gather food and hibernate. In this winter-focused unit, the children have had the opportunity to explore snow in a water table, build animal habitats in a sensory table, and, most exciting of all, play and explore in the class bear cave with some special furry friends. 🐻
