RPS Book Fair Excites the Next Generation of Readers

Alongside field trips and pizza for lunch on Fridays, the Book Fair occupies a special place in the collective nostalgia of people of a certain age. There was just something so exciting about it. A space at school would be completely transformed. In it, there was a seemingly-infinite selection of books from which to choose. And you, yes, grade-school you, felt very grown up being able to pick out your favorites and actually pay for them yourself.

While much has changed since many reading this were children, we're glad to report that the excitement about the Book Fair has not. Our Lower School students have been absolutely thrilled for their chance to go to the Book Fair during their library class time and browse through shelf after shelf of picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, and so much more.

Parents can visit the Book Fair as well! Feel free to stop by anytime from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Thursday, or from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday to pick out some books for the little readers in your life and relive some childhood memories in the process.
