RPS Team Has Strong Showing at Science Olympiad

Earlier this month, a team of Rutgers Prep students competed in the NJ Central Regional Science Olympiad. The competition consists of 12 events across a range of science topics, including building a wooden tower and an egg-carrying car. As a team, RPS had a strong showing, finishing 11th overall in the field of 22 schools, with Sushant Lebaka ’24 and Mimansa Kumar ’26 leading the way. The duo took first place in Astronomy 🥇 and second place in Ecology 🥈, while Sushant also placed third 🥉 in the Disease Detectives event. A special shoutout to Sanjna Thoguru ’25, who provided significant support preparing the team for the astronomy event. Great job, everyone!
