Rutgers Prep Girls Soccer Team Captures Third-Straight State Title
The Rutgers Prep girls soccer team defeated DePaul Catholic 3-0 to capture its third-consecutive State Championship on Wednesday. With the win, the Argonauts improved to a school-record 23-0 and became the first Rutgers Prep program to win a Prep B, county, and state title in a single season.
The Argonauts are currently ranked No. 2 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, but the convincing win against the No. 7 Spartans may be enough to catapult the team into the nation's top spot once again. This would be a perfect way to cap off an amazing season and incredible high school careers for our seniors!
