Rutgers Prep Grads Reunite on Alumni Day 2025
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Alumni Day!
From honoring Hall of Fame inductees and celebrating reunion milestones to reconnecting over shared meals with classmates, it was a weekend full of unforgettable moments.
On Friday night, we inducted two new members into the Rutgers Preparatory School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Anthony Brocato ’14 was inducted in recognition of his outstanding baseball career. A former team captain and state Player of the Year, Anthony earned All-State and All-American honors before continuing his success at St. John’s University. Now just phone calls away from playing in the major leagues, Anthony mentors high school, college, and professional athletes on the mental approach to athletic competition.
Nan Blecker P ’99 was honored for her decades of volunteer leadership at Rutgers Prep. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees for over 20 years, she played a key role in supporting athletics—most notably by helping plan the year-end sports dinner that evolved into the R.P. ESPYS. Her service was previously recognized with the Gottlieb Award in 2022.
On Saturday, we gathered on a beautiful day to cheer on the Argonauts out on the baseball diamond, revisit memories and look ahead on campus tours, and enjoy a celebratory lunch with friends and former teachers.
Here’s to our amazing alumni community!
