Ryan Lachs ’26 and Alexa Lee ’26 Named Somerset County Scholar Athletes

Congratulations to Ryan Lachs ’26 and Alexa Lee ’26, who were honored with Somerset County Scholar Athlete Awards at a ceremony held at Bridgewater Manor on April 29.

Alexa has earned Academic Honors and Honors with Distinction throughout Upper School, while helping lead the RPS girls soccer team to four straight NJSIAA State Championships and being named an All-American this past season. She is active in the American Red Cross Club and Tend to a Friend, and will attend Columbia University this fall.

Ryan has achieved Academic Honors and Honors with Distinction throughout Upper School, is a member of the Cum Laude Society, and served as President of School Council. He was a standout defenseman for Rutgers Prep lacrosse, was named Second Team All-Skyland Conference in 2025, and also played three years of varsity basketball. Ryan will attend Hamilton College this fall.
