Smiles Bloom as Lower School Students Take Part in Planting Day

Our Lower School students were out in the fresh air and warm sunshine yesterday morning for Planting Day, a decades-old tradition at Rutgers Prep that gives the youngest members of our community an opportunity for hands-on learning and some good, old-fashioned messy fun! Students from Pre-K through Grade 5 gathered on the Quad—trowels and garden scoops in hand—to plant hundreds of daffodil bulbs, which will help make our campus a more beautiful place when those blooms appear and provide us with one of the first (and very much welcome) signs of spring! 🌼
