Students Pull Off “Miraculous” Upset Win in Seniors vs. Faculty Football Game

Do you believe in miracles?

It may not have been the Miracle on Ice, but the Class of 2026’s win in the Seniors vs. Faculty Football Game on Friday was a historic upset nonetheless.

After a defensive battle kept the game scoreless through regulation, Ryan Lachs ’26 returned an interception the length of the field for a game-winning touchdown in overtime, securing just the second student win in the game’s history.

Congratulations, seniors, on a well-earned and, dare we say, miraculous victory.
