Our Goals Are:

• To provide service to the RPS School Community.
• To provide increased opportunities for parents to get to know one another.
• To raise funds which are donated to Rutgers Preparatory School for the benefit of the students.
• To encourage and promote social activities for the students and their families.
• To publicize Rutgers Preparatory School.
• To provide service to the general community.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the Parents’ Association (PA), I would like to warmly welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year!

As a brief introduction, I am the mother of Lily Rahbari, Class of 2032. My family has been part of the Rutgers Preparatory School (RPS) community since Pre-Kindergarten, so this is our 9th year at the school!  I am honored to serve as the PA President for a third year and truly excited to continue contributing to our vibrant RPS community.

As a parent or guardian of an RPS student, you are automatically a member of the Parents’ Association. The PA exists to foster social connections among families, support enrichment opportunities, and enhance our children’s overall RPS experience. Together, we aim to help every family feel welcomed, engaged, and connected.

The PA Board is composed of a Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Presidents (VPs) for each division—Lower, Middle, and Upper School—and Grade Representatives for each class. In 2022, we introduced “co-VP” roles for each division and a “co-Secretary” position to further strengthen our support system. We currently have a few open Grade Representative positions—please consider volunteering! You can view the available roles via this link. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about getting involved.

We warmly invite all parents and guardians to attend our five scheduled PA meetings throughout the school year. Meetings will be held in-person or virtually via Zoom from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on the second Friday of every other month, beginning September 12, 2025.
