  • To provide service to the RPS School Community.
  • To provide increased opportunities for parents to get to know one another.
  • To raise funds which are donated to Rutgers Preparatory School for the benefit of the students.
  • To encourage and promote social activities for the students and their families.
  • To publicize Rutgers Preparatory School.
  • To provide service to the general community.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the Parents’ Association (PA), I would like to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! As a brief introduction of myself, I am Lily Rahbari’s mom, class of 2032. My family has been part of the Rutgers Preparatory School (RPS) community since Pre-Kindergarten (PK). This is my second year as the PA president, and I am honored and looking forward to contributing to the RPS community.

To begin, as a parent or guardian of an RPS student, you are automatically a member of the PA. The PA offers and promotes social interaction and networking among RPS families, as well as several opportunities to enhance our children’s experiences through enrichment and extracurricular activities. Collectively, we strive to help families feel connected to the RPS community.

The PA Board includes a Treasurer, a Secretary, Vice Presidents (VP) for each school division (i.e., Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School), and a Grade Representative for each individual grade. In 2022, the PA Board introduced “co-VP” positions for each division and a “co-Secretary” position. The descriptions for these roles are found on the ArgoNet PA Resource page. A listing of our PA board members and Grade Representatives can be viewed via this link. I’m happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding the PA.

All parents and guardians are welcomed and encouraged to attend our five (5) scheduled PA meetings held throughout the school year. The PA meetings will be held virtually via Zoom from 8:30 to 9:30 am. The meeting dates are on ArgoNet under Resource Boards - RPS Parents’ Association on the ArgoNet calendar and listed here for convenience:
