We are pleased to offer morning or full day sessions of the RPS MiniBlast Camp to our enthusiastic, energetic and curious young friends. Our camp helps to establish self-confidence and a positive attitude toward friendships and new explorations. Every child’s camping experience should be positive, fun, and safe.

Our counselors provide opportunities for campers to accomplish meaningful camp experiences through arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor play, cooking, explorations, water play, science experiments, singing, dancing, group games, special guests, and more! What a fun and dynamic way to spend one week or the entire summer!

For: Girls and Boys ages 7 – 14

Dates:  June 7– August 6, 2021

Summer Blast, Rutgers Preparatory School’s premier summer camp program, provides an exciting opportunity for children to participate in a wide variety of activities. These activities, led by a caring and energetic staff, will encourage sportsmanship, cooperation, healthy competition, self-awareness, and positive self-esteem.

For: Ages 7 – 17

Dates:  weeks of June 28 – August 16, 2021

The tennis program is open to all age ranges and skill levels. The two, three, and four week programs are an excellent way to improve your game in all areas as well as meet new tennis partners. Each camper will be evaluated and placed into an instructional group according to his or her ability level. The ultimate way to improve your tennis game is to attend a four to twelve day, intensive program.

A Quick-Start Tennis program for 10 and under is also offered.

For: Students entering grades 3 – 6

Dates:
July 5 – July 9
and/or
July 12 – July 16

Students will explore with a variety of mixed media including Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, &Tie-Dye. We will explore nature and create art from items found outdoors, tie-dye t-shirts, learn and paint with watercolors, explore different drawing techniques and play with color and more... This camp is designed to get those creative juices flowing and have the students explore through the arts. (Maximum of 12 students)

For: Students entering First Grade

Join us for a week-long, fun and enriching learning experience for those students getting ready to enter first grade in September 2021.  We will be focusing on reading and math readiness, while providing exciting, age-appropriate social play.  Prevent the “summer slide” and give your child an opportunity to brush up on skills needed for first grade. 

Taught by 2 experienced Kindergarten teachers, we will provide individualized, small group instruction in a hands-on, experiential learning environment.

Garden State Lacrosse Camp teaches a breed of lacrosse that is equally beneficial to the athlete regardless of his natural ability. What we teach is straightforward and makes sense. The skills we teach are applicable to every level of lacrosse, from youth game up through college. MAXIMIZING EFFICIENCY is the cornerstone of our teaching; whether we are working on footwork, stick skills, or the mental aspect of the game. For: Ages 6 – 15

International Ivy promotes creativity and hands-on learning for students between the age of 6-15 in subjects such as Computer Programming, Video Game Creation, Roblox Game Design, Minecraft, Drone Programming, Robotics, Engineering, Science, Math, Business, Language Arts, Visual Arts, Humanities and more. All classes are weekly, Monday to Friday, between July 5 and August 13. Families can enroll for one week or multiple weeks, full-day or half-day. All classes will take place on the Rutgers Preparatory School Campus in Somerset, NJ.

For: Students entering 9th-12th grade

Dates: August 9 – August 13

A full week of intensive, motivating and challenging training to prepare players for the High School Season! Stay sharp with your technique with pressurized technical training, and develop a higher level of tactical understanding through a unique combination of functional/tactical training and video performance analysis. The camp also incorporates soccer-specific conditioning and speed-agility work, to ensure players are at optimal physical condition at the end of the week.

All aspects of the game are coached to develop a "total soccer" experience for the player! Aimed at players of all levels. Our motivating and challenging curriculum will keep players sharp and focused during the summer months! A balanced and varied curriculum will improve both attacking and defensive aspects of the game, creating a "total" soccer player!

Our soccer summer camp is available for boys and girls, ages 6-15, playing at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Players are evaluated on the first day and placed in reduced groups on age and ability which guarantees the quality of training sessions.

The soccer training program delivered at the Real Madrid Soccer Camps aims to let all participants express their full technical, tactical and physical potential no matter their skill level. Day by day they will learn to enhance their strengths and will be stimulated to understand their own weaknesses and how to work to overcome them.

This action-packed week of basketball camp is designed to teach individuals how to improve their skills on their own. We will emphasize the skills and drills necessary to become a more efficient offensive player. Every camper will learn how to become a better 1 on 1 player, while also learning how to use those skills to enhance a team.

Emphasis: Ball-handling, footwork, proper mechanics, creating shots, 1 on 1 development.

The Economics and Entrepreneurship boot camp is intended to help students thrive in the classroom and eventually in the workplace. During this weeklong online course, students will be introduced to Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Entrepreneurship. In addition, students will be partnered with a local business in the community to solve real problems and receive real feedback from the business owners.

The goals of this camp are to provide a positive and enjoyable learning environment for the campers, provide extensive individual instruction and emphasize the importance of team concepts and sportsmanship. Individual skills are taught in all areas of the game including shooting, passing, ball handling, offensive moves, and defense.

XTRA-Bases Baseball Camp is an instructional camp for boys ages 6 -14. This camp is led by former Franklin Township Little League President, Dave Hameier and Rutgers Prep Varsity Baseball Coach, Larry Santowasso. XTRA-Bases strives to teach fundamentals, enhance techniques and improve all-around skills in all aspects of baseball, thus making the campers’ experience fun, educational, and challenging. Lunch is included with enrollment.
